In 2013, the contest "New Talent Jazz" received 169 entries from several states and other countries such as Chile, Argentine, Bolivia, Uruguay and Peru. The quality was proportional to the amount and, therefore, the jury had enough work to select the 10 bands. The first two Savassi attend the Festival, while the others receive honorable mention.
The Ventura was in 7th place. :)
